Scriptures are simply God’s word, as written in his book, the Bible. I have come to place my absolute trust in the Bible, believing it to be the inerrant word of God. It doesn’t matter which aspect I have considered (eg historical, geographical, prophetic, wisdom, etc), I have found it to be faultless.The Bible is alive, as a particular Scripture seems to jump out of the page, something that is relevant to me at exactly the right time. This is one of the ways in which God can speak to you, and help to answer some of your questions. The Bible contains so many life stories of imperfect people who sometimes do crazy things, that no matter what you have done in your life, the Bible can draw something out of its pages straight into your heart and mind.
In today’s world there are many forms of sickness, physical, mental and emotional. Perhaps you can find some verses below which might speak into your situation. The following Scriptures address a range of problem areas:
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”(Matthew 7:7-8)
My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.”(Proverbs 3:1-2)
“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”(James 5:14-16).
“Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.”(Proverbs 3:7-8)
“My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.”(Proverbs 3:21-24)
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."(Isaiah 41:10)

"But he (Jesus) was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed."(Isaiah 53:4-6)
"When Jesus entered Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever; he touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve him."(Matthew 8:14-15)
"Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise."(Jeremiah 17:14)
"Then he touched their eyes [of the blind men] and said, 'According to your faith let it be done to you.' And their eyes were opened."(Matthew 9:28-30)
